DMK threatens, PM succumbs, Divestments on hold
Way to go for the "supposedly" great economist and reformist PM - can you believe these adjectives with which some hail him, this is a person who argued so favorably to socialism weeks before he became FM in 90's.
What Mr Singh failed to understand was the stake that DMK has in the present Govt. It is holding a very important portfolio for a good reason - Telecom ministry. Accepting a person who has a business interests in telecom industry as a telecom minister, in itself is a great conflict of interest. Can we except morals or ethics or professionalism in this Govt anyway ? It's very hard to believe that DMK would forgo this ministry at this juncture and it is not very hard to believe that we have the weakest Prime Minister.
