Assam's prominent voter didn't vote
It seems that the most important voter (by his position), Dr Singh had been too busy to vote in the elections. People are questioning if he had been registered as a voter in Assam just for the sake of getting elected to RS.
Apparently he had not even used the vote-by-mail option available to him. Even if we agree that he is the busiest person in the country and give him the benefit of doubt, the history proves otherwise. Is the question raised by the people valid ?
"Election office sources here said that the Prime Minister, elected to the Rajya Sabha from Assam in 1991, had cast his vote only in the 1998 Lok Sabha elections but did not vote in the 1991, 1996 and 2001 Assembly polls."
