As usual, CPI(M) champions of equality were whining about "separation of authorities of the three arms of the State (Executive, Legislative and Judiciary)". This is classic act of confusing the people, when you don't have enough armour to defend the controversial law in question. Also they were careful enough not to be held in contempt of the court.

Probably they think that politicians are more than equal (from the standard commies formula: All are equal, some are more than equal) and executive arm can bend and twist the arm of legislative and to the extent of twisting the 3rd arm as well. They may probably know this, if not let's remind them. There is something called a constituitional framework which can't be broken even by the executive.
