AAMIR KHAN SPEAKS

An interesting link on Kashmir Herald. Let's hope he delivers what he meant and prove his secular credentials, neutrality or nationalism, whatever it means.

BUT DID HE MEAN IT AND WOULD HE DELIVER?

On June 1, 2006, Indian movie star Aamir Khan promised that he "will" speak on behalf of Kashmiri Hindus who have been ethnically cleansed from their homeland in Kashmir. Click here to read the press report.

Now, let us keep it in mind that he did this only after he got lot of flak for his comments against Gujarat government on the issue of Narmada Dam. We believe that this is Aamir's gimmick to do some damage control and portray himself as a secular Indian. We would like to see when and how he would take up the cause of Kashmiri Hindus. And thus we have started a clock to count how many days it will be before he really speaks up for Kashmiri Hindus.
